Free STEAM Workshop for Families in Nicosia Promotes Early STEM Engagement
WHY IT MATTERS
Early, positive STEM experiences at home build confidence and curiosity in children. This free workshop equips families with practical tools to nurture that interest, supporting the Erasmus+ goal of strengthening STEM engagement from a young age.
What happened
The Montessori Training Centre & Child’s Workshop Kindergarten, Inquiry Fuse and the University of Limassol will host a free, hands‑on STEAM workshop titled “Exploring Science Together” on Saturday, 24 October 2026, from 10 a. m. to 3 p. m.
at the kindergarten’s premises in Nicosia. Parents and children up to 10 years old can register online for a bilingual (English/Greek) event that is part of the Erasmus+ STEM Pathways project. The two‑part program first introduces parents to an online STEM course and easy‑to‑use games, then lets families work together on activities with facilitator support.
All materials and guidance are provided at no cost, aiming to boost confidence and give families ready‑to‑use resources for home learning. Registration is limited and can be completed at https://forms. gle/6x5BxzCHypcEzN2p9.
