Wang Fuk Court Owners Urged to Submit Acceptance Letters by 5pm on Aug. 31
WHY IT MATTERS
Owners who submit by the deadline will confirm their intent to sell, enabling the government to proceed with the acquisition; failure to comply risks forfeiting the offer and delaying the project.
What happened
The Hong Kong Housing Bureau has set a final deadline for owners of Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po to accept the government’s acquisition plan. Owners who have not yet signed a Letter of Acceptance must return it by 5pm on Monday, Aug.
31. The letter can be handed to a designated Engagement Team member, mailed in the return envelope included with the offer, or dropped in the drop‑off box at the Housing Authority headquarters in Ho Man Tin.
Postmarked submissions must be sent before the cut‑off to count for the deadline. The engagement team is intensifying outreach to unresponsive owners and can be reached at 2129 8133 for questions.
