Aegean Airlines to Keep Paphos Flights Through 2027, Boosting Year‑Round Tourism
WHY IT MATTERS
It secures stable air connectivity, supports year‑round tourism growth, and strengthens Paphos’s competitiveness as a destination.
What happened
Aegean Airlines has confirmed it will maintain its flight routes to and from Paphos International Airport in 2027, operating two to three weekly services between Athens and Paphos depending on the season. The continued presence will preserve stable air links with Athens and, through Aegean’s network, provide onward connections to key European tourism markets such as Germany, France and the United Kingdom.
The Paphos regional tourism board, Etap Paphos, welcomed the decision, noting that the service will broaden flight options for visitors, support the district’s long‑term tourism development and help attract tourists throughout the year.
The announcement aligns with Paphos’s strategy to improve international accessibility beyond the traditional peak season.
