Alex Palou Clinches Fourth Straight IndyCar Title and Fifth Overall

Alex Palou has secured his fourth consecutive IndyCar title and fifth overall, cementing his status as one of the series' top drivers. The 29-year-old Spaniard clinched the championship with a commanding lead of over 54 points after a doubleheader weekend at the Milwaukee Mile. Palou's title win comes on the back of a remarkable run of form, with the Chip Ganassi Racing driver now third on the all-time list for career championships behind AJ Foyt and Scott Dixon. Despite having the title locked up, Palou is unlikely to take it easy in the season finale at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, one of his best tracks, which gets underway on September 6.
