Anamanaguchi's Browser Tab Overload
WHY IT MATTERS
The band's online presence and constant engagement with the gaming community may have contributed to their current browser tab overload, highlighting the challenges of maintaining a digital presence in the modern age.
What happened
Anamanaguchi, a band known for their chiptune music, has revealed their current state of being overwhelmed by browser tabs. The band members, consisting of Peter Berkman, James DeVito, Luke Silas, and Ary Warnaar, have been described as 'terminally online' and 'plugged into the video game scene'.
Their music has appeared in various game soundtracks, including 2010's Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game, and they have collaborated with Hatsune Miku, even featuring in Fortnite.
Anamanaguchi's music has undergone different eras, from breakneck chiptune beats to dance-y pop songs, and their 2025 album Anyway marked a departure into indie rock, recorded in person at the American Football house and featuring fuzzy guitars.
