Kimi Antonelli secured his eighth victory of the season at the Spanish Grand Prix, dominating the 57-lap race at the new Madring circuit. The Mercedes driver crossed the line first, extending his lead in the drivers' championship. Team-mate George Russell finished fifth, 81 points behind Antonelli.
The young Italian's performance was described as a "masterpiece" by his race engineer, Bono. Max Verstappen finished second after a tense battle with Lando Norris, who started from pole position but lost the lead following a slow pit stop.
Norris ultimately finished third, with Charles Leclerc fourth. Lewis Hamilton was forced to retire from the race due to a brake problem.
