Cyprus Shipping Chamber’s Beach Volleyball Championship Raises €300,000 for Children with Cancer

On September 5, 6 and 13, the Cyprus Shipping Chamber hosted its annual charity beach volleyball championship, a fixture that has drawn 23 member companies for 30 years. The event, held in Limassol, raised more than €300,000 for the One Dream, One Wish association, which provides medical support to children suffering from cancer and related diseases. The championship has become a staple of the Cypriot shipping community, fostering teamwork and cooperation while underscoring social responsibility. The chamber thanked the Cyprus Volleyball Federation, the referees’ association, Limassol Municipality, and all participating companies and staff for their support. The partnership demonstrates how industry events can generate substantial charitable contributions and strengthen community ties.
