Belkin has unveiled its first power banks that use semi‑solid‑state battery technology, a move that places the company alongside BMX, Kuxiu, and Zens in the emerging market. The new accessories, branded as BoostSolid Cell, incorporate a gel‑like layer with the typical liquid electrolyte found in lithium‑ion batteries. Belkin claims the design can extend battery life up to three times longer than conventional power banks.
