Ioanna Philippou’s ‘Blue Mind’ Exhibition Opens in Nicosia

Visual artist Ioanna Philippou will open her solo show “Blue Mind” at Nicosia’s IN TOTO gallery on November 26, running until December 13. The exhibition blends vivid depictions of Mediterranean marine life with expressive figurative figures, reflecting Philippou’s lifelong fascination with the sea. Viewers will see canvases featuring a mako shark, moray eel, manta ray, sea hare, giant tun shell, sunfish and abalone rendered in bright, otherworldly hues. The work juxtaposes these creatures with the artist’s signature stylised human forms, noted for bold features and vivid colours.
