Capital One Lounge at Dulles Reopens Full Service After Ventilation Upgrade

Capital One’s 8,500‑square‑foot lounge at Washington Dulles International Airport will resume full‑service operations on Sept. 18 at 11 a. m. ET, following a months‑long period of limited service while the bank upgraded its infrastructure and ventilation system. The redesign keeps the lounge’s layout unchanged, but the new HVAC work promises steadier temperatures and a more comfortable environment year‑round. Eligible guests—Venture X and Venture X Business cardholders with a departing flight within three hours—will again access the full array of amenities: a coffee bar, grab‑and‑go section, full bar, and buffet featuring hot and cold items. During the closure, visitors could only use a small food counter and a few seats outside the main space. The reopening comes as Capital One expands its airport lounge network, adding a new 14,000‑square‑foot location in Charlotte and opening a lounge at LaGuardia earlier this year.
