Carrot Top Hospitalized in Las Vegas; Weekend Shows Cancelled

Carrot Top, the long‑running comedian at Luxor Las Vegas, was hospitalized on Friday and has had his Friday and Saturday shows cancelled. Scott Thompson, who has performed at the venue since 2005 under a contract that runs through 2030, was seen at a local bar around 2 p. m. hours before his 8 p. m. show. A representative said Thompson is receiving care and support and that his family and close friends are grateful for the concern and prayers. MGM Resorts confirmed that Thompson is a beloved member of the Luxor family and wishes him strength. Tickets for next‑week performances remain available for purchase.
