Ethiopia Unveils 15‑Year Seqota Declaration to End Child Stunting

Ethiopia has spent more than a decade building evidence, financing, and political will to end child stunting. Since joining the Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Movement in 2012, the government has carried that ambition forward through the Seqota Declaration, a 15‑year roadmap that brings nine sectors together behind a single goal. The case study examines how Ethiopia created a home‑grown, government‑owned plan, the added coordination from SUN membership, and how a package of multisectoral interventions reaches families at home, in schools, and across communities. It also reviews the programmes currently on the ground, the results achieved to date, and the challenges that remain.
