What happened
Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee will lead the National Day ceremony on October 1. The event will include a flag-raising ceremony at Golden Bauhinia Square, performances by the Police Band and a local choir, and a disciplined services fly-past and sea parade.
A National Day reception will follow the ceremony, officiated by the Chief Executive.
Special traffic arrangements will be implemented around the celebration area.
