What happened
In the Central African Republic, humanitarian efforts are underway to address the needs of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and returnee households. According to the latest situation report from the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, over 250 people fled Abba-Bogani village due to ongoing clashes, seeking refuge in Bouar.
In a separate incident, 293 households received essential household items, while 190 women-headed households received hygiene kits. Additionally, 1,300 households in Kaga-Bandoro and Mbrès received 13 tons of fertilizer to support agricultural production.
Mobile clinics provided curative consultations, and 18 survivors of gender-based violence received psychosocial support. Humanitarian needs and response efforts are ongoing to address shelter, essential household items, food assistance, and water, sanitation, and hygiene services.
