Chase Expands The Edit Hotel Credit and Adds Advertising Cap to Sapphire Reserve for Business
WHY IT MATTERS
The expanded The Edit credit benefit could increase the card's value for cardholders who regularly book The Edit stays, while the new advertising cap may affect businesses that spend more than $1 million per year on social media and search engine advertising.
What happened
Chase has announced two changes to the Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business℠, effective January 1, 2027. The Edit statement credits will increase from two $250 credits to four $250 credits per year, totaling $1,000.
This benefit is available for eligible stays at The Edit properties booked through Chase Travel. Additionally, a $1 million cap will be added to the 3 points per dollar spent earned on social media and search engine advertising, with purchases exceeding this limit earning 1 point per dollar.
New cardholders can earn 200,000 bonus Chase Ultimate Rewards points after spending $30,000 in the first six months.
