OpenAI Unveils College Planner for ChatGPT Teens

OpenAI is adding a new College Planner tool to its ChatGPT for Teens mode, which debuted in August with built‑in safeguards and break reminders. The planner consolidates application requirements, deadlines, tasks and financial‑aid steps for each school on a student’s list into a single, editable plan. Students can return to the planner to track progress, view a timeline of upcoming actions, and see what remains to be done. The feature also lets users ask ChatGPT questions about specific requirements or how to get started, providing real‑time guidance throughout the application process. OpenAI says the College Planner will be available “soon.”
