What happened
Shenzhen Transsion Holdings, the maker of Africa's bestselling phones, plans to list on the Hong Kong stock exchange. The company aims to raise up to $500 million through the offering, which could include up to 132 million offshore ordinary shares.
Transsion already trades in Shanghai and has a market capitalisation of 62 billion yuan.
