New Zealand's Climate Change Minister Simon Watts hosted China's Minister of Ecology and Environment Huang Runqiu for the Seventh Ministerial Climate Change Dialogue.
The meeting aimed to build on the countries' strong relationship and explore opportunities for collaboration in areas such as agricultural methane emissions and sustainable finance.
Minister Huang also visited Zealandia, a conservation sanctuary showcasing New Zealand's native biodiversity, and learned about Kiwi expertise in climate innovation and technology.
