Nicosia Hosts Charity ‘Cinema in Concert’ to Support Simba Animal Aid Cyprus
WHY IT MATTERS
The concert raises funds and visibility for a local animal shelter, demonstrating how arts events can directly support community welfare and animal protection efforts.
What happened
On 18 November 2026, the Pallas Cinema Theatre in Nicosia will stage a sold‑out ‘Cinema in Concert’ event, a unique audiovisual musical production by Orchestra Lumière. The show, directed by composer Kyriakos Kosta and pianist Marianna Georgiou, blends live music with interactive video art by Andreas Christoforou.
All proceeds will be donated to Simba Animal Aid Cyprus, a local animal shelter, to help fund care, protection and welfare programs for animals in need. The concert is sponsored by Nestlé Purina, which will help raise awareness of the cause.
Tickets are available through Ticketmaster Cyprus, and the event promises an immersive experience that fuses culture with compassion.
