Cyprus Hosts 11th Nicosia Book Fest, Spotlighting Spain as Guest Country

The 11th Nicosia Book Fest opens on October 10‑11 at Nicosia’s Acropolis Park, drawing more than 100 exhibitors and a program of over 100 events. The festival features book presentations, author discussions, theatrical readings, concerts, visual arts activities and creative workshops across multiple stages, including the Main Stage, Anagnostirio, Literature Stage, Children’s Stage and Spilia Hall. Spain is the Guest Country of Honour, with the opening ceremony celebrating Spanish literary icons Miguel de Cervantes and Federico García Lorca through music, dance, poetry and cultural tributes. Cypriot writers and artists also showcase new work, underscoring the island’s own literary voice. Admission is free, making the event accessible to all ages.
