Delta Adds Five New Nonstop Routes From LAX, Including Monterey
WHY IT MATTERS
The new nonstop flights cut travel time to Monterey and other destinations, offering Los Angeles travelers more direct options and boosting regional connectivity during the peak travel season.
What happened
Delta Air Lines has announced the launch of five new nonstop routes from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), expanding its SkyTeam network in the City of Angels. The first new service will connect LAX to Monterey (MRY) and is scheduled to begin in October, with the remaining four routes rolling out through the following April.
The expansion reflects Delta’s strategy to increase direct flight options for Los Angeles travelers and to strengthen its presence in key domestic markets.
By adding these nonstop connections, the airline aims to reduce travel times and provide more convenient itineraries for passengers heading to both popular tourist destinations and business hubs in California and beyond.
