Delta Cuts 5 Routes Across 7 Cities, Plans Smaller Las Vegas Schedule This Winter

What happened
Delta Air Lines has revealed plans to slash five routes from its network, affecting cities in New York, Las Vegas, and Southern California. The airline will end three routes from New York City, including two from John F. Kennedy International Airport and one from LaGuardia Airport.
In Las Vegas, Delta will end service from two cities in Southern California due to lower travel demand this winter. The airline will contact impacted customers directly about these changes.
The route cuts will take place between early November and mid-December. Delta still offers limited Las Vegas service to San Diego and Orange County in early January to cater to travelers attending the Consumer Electronics Show.
