Musical Spirograph Turns Browser into Generative Music Studio

A new web‑based tool called Musical Spirograph lets users create music by visualizing Spirograph‑style patterns directly in the browser. The program animates a set of points that move according to mathematical equations, drawing hypotrochoids and epitrochoids across the screen. As the points travel through concentric rings, each ring triggers a specific note, turning the visual motion into a musical composition. Users can customize the experience with six different virtual rotors and up to three drawing arms, allowing for a range of rhythmic and melodic possibilities. The result is a hypnotic blend of geometry and sound that can be explored without installing any software.
