Dortmund and Freiburg Share Unbeaten Start to Bundesliga Season

Borussia Dortmund secured their third consecutive win in the Bundesliga with a 3-0 victory over Paderborn, thanks to Felix Nmecha's late double. The Ruhr valley club, fresh from a 3-2 Champions League win over Villarreal, dominated the first half and had several chances to extend their lead. Nmecha settled the home fans' nerves with a drilled goal in the 80th minute, and sealed the win with a superb bicycle kick nine minutes later. Dortmund join Freiburg atop the table, who also made it three wins from three with a crushing 5-0 victory over Borussia Moenchengladbach. Freiburg have now won all six of their competitive matches this season, and stretched their unbeaten home run against Gladbach to 19 Bundesliga games.
