Hong Kong Prepares for National Day Golden Week with Enhanced Ecotourism Management

The Hong Kong Government has announced measures to manage crowds and protect the environment at key ecotourism spots ahead of the Mainland's National Day Golden Week. The Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department will deploy extra staff, use drone patrols, and implement online real-name reservation arrangements to control visitor flow. The department will also promote safe hiking, environmental protection, and provide facilities for campers. Joint patrols with other departments will maintain order and protect the ecology at Sharp Island and Shui Hau on Lantau Island.
