Eurobank Earns Dual Euromoney Awards, Highlights Growth and Digital Transformation

Eurobank has been named both Best Bank in Cyprus and Best Bank for Large Enterprises by Euromoney, reflecting its leading position in the domestic banking system. The assessment covered 2025, a pivotal year that saw the merger of Hellenic Bank with Eurobank Cyprus and the creation of Eurobank Limited, now the country’s largest banking and insurance organisation with assets exceeding €28 billion. During that period, loans to businesses grew by about 17 percent, and the bank’s customer base expanded to more than 710,000 individuals and 11,500 businesses. Digital transformation was highlighted, with over 96 percent of transactions conducted online and most financing applications submitted via the mobile app. Eurobank also opened its first representative office in India, strengthening economic ties and positioning Cyprus as a strategic gateway to the EU.
