Citi Adds $200 Dining Credit to Premium American Airlines Card
WHY IT MATTERS
This new benefit adds up to $200 in potential annual value to the Citi / AAdvantage Executive card, offsetting nearly 30% of the card's $695 annual fee and providing value close to home, rather than being tied to flying with American Airlines.
What happened
Citi has introduced a new perk for its Citi / AAdvantage Executive World Legend Mastercard holders, offering up to $200 in annual dining credits through inKind. Starting October 25, primary cardholders can redeem the benefit, split into two $100 allotments for January-June and July-December. Existing cardholders have just over two months to use their first $100 credit before the end of 2026.
The new credit can be redeemed directly through the inKind app at participating restaurants, bars, and cafes in the U. S. Cardholders must pay their check through the inKind app to use the credit, and it cannot be applied toward gratuities, fees, or service charges.
The inKind app offers its own rewards program, allowing diners to earn up to 20% back on eligible spending. Citi views dining access and experiences as a natural complement to the Executive card's travel benefits, part of a broader effort to offer more value beyond airline-specific perks.
