Fairphone Unveils Fairbuds 2: Smaller, Lighter, and Twice the Battery Life
WHY IT MATTERS
The Fairbuds 2 combine sustainability with longer use, reducing e‑waste and offering consumers a durable, high‑performance audio option.
What happened
Fairphone has released the Fairbuds 2, a fully repairable pair of earbuds that build on the original design with a new stemmed shape and a case 37 % smaller.
Available now in the UK and Europe for £99 (€119) and set to launch in the US on November 2 for $119, the earbuds offer improved audio quality and a battery life of 40 hours without active noise cancellation—almost double the endurance of the first generation.
The new models come in black or green and maintain Fairphone’s commitment to ethical, repair‑friendly electronics.
