What happened
MahallArt 26, the flagship programme of Larnaka 2030, opens on Thursday, October 8 at Ais Yiannis Square with a cinema night featuring Ken Loach’s film *The Old Oak* in English with Greek subtitles. Friday’s festival night hosts art walks, a theatre piece by Sofia Kalli, dance performances from Kalia Dance School, photography by Filippos Sotiriou, and a collective art workshop.
Saturday’s programme includes a discussion on MahallArt at the Politikos Omilos Vasilitzia club house, free coffee, and a closing concert by The Tease.
The festival will continue through November 8, activating other Larnaca neighbourhoods such as Stavrodromi, Dromolaxia‑Meneou‑Kiti, and the Ayioi Anargyroi refugee settlement.
