What happened
The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) is hosting its Asia Pacific Congress in Boracay, Philippines, from September 29 to October 1. The event brings together 120 delegates from FIA Member Clubs across Asia and the Pacific to discuss priorities for safe and sustainable mobility.
The Congress will focus on road safety, innovation, and accessible transport, as well as opportunities to increase motor sport participation and create more accessible pathways into the sport. Member Clubs will share expertise and develop practical solutions to address the specific needs of their members and communities.
The FIA's work in the Asia-Pacific region has expanded its Safe Mobility 4 All & 4 Life programme, supporting Member Clubs and authorities with training and practical tools to improve road safety. The region continues to play an important role in motor sport, with Malaysia set to host the Bahrain Grand Prix in the days following the Congress.
