What happened
FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem met with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun to discuss shared priorities for the future of motorsport. The meeting came after Ben Sulayem attended the Rally of Lebanon, an event he won four times during his distinguished rally driving career.
The rally, which is the fourth round of the FIA Middle East Rally Championship, saw victory go to Lebanon's Roger Feghali and co-driver Joseph Matar. Ben Sulayem praised the event's rich history and its role in the FIA's plans to ensure the long-term future of the FIA Middle East Rally Championship.
He also thanked the Automobile and Touring Club of Lebanon for their warm welcome and hospitality.
