Firefox Launches Fast Lane Partnership with AEG at Berlin’s Uber Arena
WHY IT MATTERS
The initiative shows how a browser can enhance real‑world event experiences, offering fans faster entry and a seamless link between online discovery and physical attendance.
What happened
Mozilla’s Firefox has teamed with Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) to debut a new Fast Lane experience at Berlin’s Uber Arena, Uber Eats Music Hall, and Uber Platz. Beginning this October, fans attending concerts, basketball, and ice‑hockey events can use the dedicated Firefox Fast Lane to bypass the main entrance queue.
The service is available to users who have Firefox installed on their phones, and a QR code for downloading the browser will be displayed at the Fast Lane entrance. Firefox’s mascot, Kit, will also be present to assist attendees.
John Solomon, Mozilla‑Firefox Chief Marketing Officer, said the partnership reflects Firefox’s focus on giving users choice, control, and a smoother journey from online planning to in‑person enjoyment.
