Hong Kong Finalises First Five‑Year Plan in Six Months

Secretary for Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Janice Tse announced that Hong Kong has completed its First Five‑Year Plan in just six months. The plan, described as a strategic and forward‑looking blueprint, aligns closely with national development objectives and outlines social and economic priorities for the next half‑decade. Tse highlighted the rapid pace of the process and thanked the public for the views submitted, as well as the Legislative Council for its support. Reports prepared by the Council supplied a solid foundation for the consultation document, offering clear insights into stakeholder and community expectations.
