Genesis Joins Electric SUV Club with GV90

Genesis has debuted its new electric flagship, the GV90, a luxury SUV that draws inspiration from the Neolum concept. The production version features a pillarless coach door design, known as the Neolum Arch Gate, and a three-row, seven-seat configuration. The GV90 uses the same 800 V E-GMP platform as the Hyundai Ioniq 9 and Kia EV9. The high-end GV90 Neolum variant translates the concept's design elements, including the coach doors and wood floor. All GV90 models include 12 airbags, including the world's first roof airbag, which deploys in the case of a rollover. Genesis has successfully engineered the pillarless coach doors to meet safety requirements for volume production. The GV90 Neolum is a four-seat variant with a unique interior design. The GV90 is Genesis's new electric flagship, and it marks the brand's entry into the electric SUV market.
