GOG Releases Printable “Big Box” Models for Classic PC Games

What happened
GOG has added downloadable 3D models and printable packaging scans for five classic PC titles—Armikrog, Descent, Hitman: Codename 47, Myst, and Star Trek: 25th Anniversary. The “Printable Big Box” collection appears in the Goodies section of each game’s store page.
Owners can download a ZIP containing a GLB 3D object that animates the box opening, plus flat templates in PDF, SVG, and Illustrator formats. The initiative lets fans create paper‑craft replicas of the original boxed packaging, preserving the visual heritage of pre‑Steam PC games.
GOG notes that physical media degrade over time, so digitizing and enabling home printing offers a new form of preservation. The feature is available immediately to anyone who owns the listed titles on GOG.
