What happened
Hong Kong's unique advantages in going global were promoted to over 120 representatives of central and other state-owned enterprises at a seminar. The event, held by the Task Force on Supporting Mainland Enterprises in Going Global, highlighted Hong Kong's international business environment, world-class professional services, and top-tier talent.
Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Algernon Yau emphasized that Hong Kong is the best home port for enterprises setting sail overseas.
The seminar featured two thematic discussions on the opportunities arising from Hong Kong's Northern Metropolis and how Mainland enterprises can leverage Hong Kong's advantages to respond to global market dynamics.
