Google's Gemini Notebook Now Interacts with Books

Google's AI note-taking app, Gemini Notebook, has gained a new feature called 'Expert Intelligence'. This feature allows users to bring titles from Google Play Books directly into Gemini Notebook. With this integration, users can ask questions, generate plans, infographics, and AI podcasts based on the contents of the books. For example, users can create a recipe book using information from Michael Pollan's 'Food Rules' or apply knowledge from Kim Scott's management-focused book. This new feature was demonstrated by Google Labs editorial director Steven Johnson during a briefing with The Verge.
