What happened
At the 20th Asian Games, Hong Kong athletes Lee Ka‑yi and Tang Ming‑hong secured the gold medal in the Mixed Doubles squash event, while teammates Tse Yee‑lam, Toby, and Lai Cheuk‑nam earned silver. Secretary for Culture, Sports & Tourism Rosanna Law praised the pairs for their outstanding performances, noting that the two Hong Kong, China teams reached the final together and wrote a historic chapter for the squash team.
In addition, Hong Kong fencers Fong Hoi‑sun, Ho Wai‑hang, Lau Ho‑fung and Ng Ho‑tin captured bronze in the Men's Épée Team after a series of hard‑fought contests.
