What happened
On September 4, the Hong Kong Lands Department will open a public tender for the sale of a residential site in Ho Man Tin, Kowloon. The 5,170‑square‑meter lot, listed as Inland Lot No.
11301 on the 2026‑27 Land Sale List, is located on Fat Kwong Street and is earmarked for private residential use. The sale documents will be posted on the department’s website on the same day.
The purchaser must construct a neighbourhood elderly centre sub‑base and an integrated community centre for mental wellness sub‑base on the site, and the gross floor area limits—11,580 to 19,300 square metres—exclude the government‑owned accommodation buildings. The tender closes on October 2.
