Hong Kong’s elite Diocesan Boys’ School announced it will introduce the International Advanced Level curriculum in 2027, making it the city’s first school to provide three distinct university pathways. The move follows the school’s recent approvals from Cambridge International Education and the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority.
Headmaster Ronnie Cheng Kay‑yen revealed the plan during a Primary One admission talk at the Mong Kok campus, noting that the final step is securing Education Bureau approval.
If granted, the school will expand its academic options for students seeking higher education abroad or locally.
