Saudi Arabia’s KSrelief Expands Humanitarian Efforts in Pakistan Amid Ongoing Crisis

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), founded by Saudi Arabia in 2015, has intensified its work in Pakistan, coordinating closely with the National Disaster Management Authority, provincial authorities, UN agencies and local partners. KSrelief’s portfolio covers food security, health, nutrition, shelter, education, water, sanitation and hygiene, early recovery and disaster risk reduction. In Pakistan, the centre has implemented hundreds of projects worth millions of dollars, delivering immediate relief while also supporting longer‑term recovery. Interventions include protecting children from preventable disease, restoring sight, securing food supplies, shielding households from harsh winters, rebuilding homes and schools, and restoring essential public facilities. The approach blends urgent assistance with measures that help communities regain stability, dignity and resilience.
