What happened
Insta360 has introduced the Luna Pro, a compact steadicam that rivals DJI's Osmo Pocket. The Luna Pro is a stripped-back version of the Luna Ultra, featuring a single lens but retaining key features such as a 1-inch-type 8K sensor, detachable 2-inch touchscreen remote, and four-hour battery life.
Unlike DJI's Osmo Pocket 4, the Luna Pro can be purchased in the US. A unique advantage of the Luna Pro is its ability to shoot vertical video in 4K.
The device's design and functionality are largely similar to the Luna Ultra, with the telephoto lens being the primary difference. Insta360 showcased the Luna Pro at the IFA trade show, where it generated interest among attendees.
