What happened
Cloudflare has introduced cf, a new CLI that provides agents with access to the entire Cloudflare API. Built for the next generation of software development, cf offers a unified interface for agents to perform various tasks, including setting up workers, deploying them, and monitoring their performance.
The new CLI is designed to standardize and expand the capabilities of Cloudflare's existing CLI, Wrangler, which had limitations in terms of functionality and consistency. With cf, agents can now perform over 3,000 operations, compared to Wrangler's 280 operations.
The new CLI also includes novel tools for agentic command discovery and is designed to be more agent-friendly, with JSON as the default interface and support for filtering results.
