ITCZ Brings Rain to Visayas, Mindanao, as Typhoon Queenie Exits PAR

The intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) is causing scattered rain and thunderstorms in parts of the Philippines, including the Visayas, Mindanao, and Palawan. The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) warns of possible flash floods and landslides. Meanwhile, Typhoon Queenie has exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) after intensifying into a severe tropical storm and then a typhoon. PAGASA predicts that there could be one or two tropical cyclones per month for October, November, and December.
