JetBlue Unveils Boston BlueHouse Lounge, Expanding Premium Experience
WHY IT MATTERS
The new lounge underscores JetBlue’s strategy to capture premium travelers in Boston, a key market for higher yields, while offering a uniquely local experience that differentiates it from rivals like Delta.
What happened
JetBlue has opened its second BlueHouse lounge at Boston Logan International Airport, a move that signals the carrier’s push to attract higher‑spending travelers. The 12,000‑plus‑square‑foot facility, located across from Gate C25 in Terminal C, can host 204 guests and offers cocktails, craft beer, specialty coffee, a full kitchen with locally inspired dishes, and a buffet.
The design celebrates Boston with motifs ranging from a Dunkin’ Donuts model to a replica Green Monster scoreboard, and includes a “Dugout” game area and a Library Workspace. Access remains limited to passengers on Mint business‑class fares, JetBlue Premier Card holders, and top‑tier Mosaic members.
The lounge opens on Aug. 27, coinciding with a planned billion‑dollar Terminal C overhaul.
