Leavitt Reveals Trump’s Unfiltered Diplomacy with Putin, Xi, and Starmer

Former White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said President Donald Trump spoke bluntly with foreign leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and former British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. In a podcast interview, Leavitt described tense phone calls in which Trump raised U. S. concerns about fentanyl precursors manufactured in China and urged China to stop shipping them. A few weeks later, the U. S. announced that those precursors would no longer be sent, a move attributed to Trump’s pressure. Trump also pushed China to purchase more U. S. soybeans to support American farmers. During a lunch with Starmer, Trump criticized the former prime minister’s policies, calling them “stupid” and demanding border closures. Leavitt noted that Trump’s private remarks were mirrored in his public statements, with no “games” between the two. She left the White House in August after giving birth to her second child.
