Stavros Lantsias Trio+ to Blend Rock, Classical, Jazz in Cyprus Concerts

Stavros Lantsias, a celebrated pianist and composer, will perform with his trio and blues guitarist Babis Tyropoulos in two concerts that mix Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Beethoven and Ennio Morricone. The first show takes place on September 25 at the Rialto Theatre in Limassol, followed by a second performance on September 26 at the Axiothea Mansion in Nicosia as part of the University of Cyprus’s 29th Cultural Festival. The lineup includes double‑bass player Michalis Kalkanis and drummer Michalis Kapilidis. The program blends contemporary jazz, classical music and international rock, creating a dialogue that reflects the Mediterranean’s artistic exchange. The concerts aim to broaden audience tastes and strengthen Cyprus’s cultural profile.
