P.T. Gets PC Port Thanks to Open Source Effort
WHY IT MATTERS
This native port provides an authentic experience for PC players and includes extra features like upscaling, frame-generation, and a 'museum' section with in-game assets.
What happened
A coder has created a porting tool that allows players to build a playable PC executable from the original PS4 files of P. T. , a long-discontinued horror game.
The open source porting effort rebuilds the P. T. engine in C++ and Vulkan, recreating every level, model, texture, sound, script, and cutscene.
Players will need a legitimate decrypted copy of the original P. T. to generate a playable PC version.
