What happened
A US Coast Guard Gulfstream G550 carrying DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin and 13 others made an emergency landing at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) on Wednesday afternoon. The aircraft was en route from Georgia to Washington when it suffered an in-flight engine failure.
The crew successfully diverted the plane to a safe location, where it landed without incident. The passengers, including Mullin, were reportedly unharmed.
The cause of the engine failure is currently under investigation.
