What happened
The Festival of Connoisseurs, an international luxury exhibition, will debut in Hong Kong in November. The event will showcase premium lifestyle products, including superyachts, supercars, and high-end jewelry, with the support of the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau.
The Government has earmarked $100 million to attract large-scale international exhibitions, and the Festival of Connoisseurs is the first to receive backing from this funding initiative.
Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Algernon Yau stated that the exhibition will drive local consumption, tourism, and related industries, while reinforcing Hong Kong's global leading position.
